At Honey Lake Clinic, we believe that churches should never have to navigate mental health challenges alone. Every week, pastors and church leaders sit with people facing depression, trauma, addiction, anxiety, marital crisis, suicidal thoughts, burnout, grief, and spiritual exhaustion. Most pastors were never formally trained to handle the depth and complexity of these situations, yet they are often the first call when someone is in crisis.
The Honey Lake Clinic Church Care Network exists to come alongside churches as a trusted mental health resource and ministry partner. This is not a membership program. There are no fees, obligations, fundraising, or referral expectations.
Our heart is simple: we want churches to know they have somewhere to turn when the needs become greater than what they can carry alone.
What Is the Church Care Network?
The Church Care Network is a growing partnership between Honey Lake Clinic and churches across the country who want access to trusted, biblically grounded mental health support and resources.
Our goal is to help churches confidently navigate mental health needs while remaining centered on Christ, biblical truth, and compassionate care.
We want pastors and ministry leaders to know:
- You do not have to carry every crisis alone.
- You do not have to become a licensed counselor to care for your people well.
- You can have trusted professionals and ministry partners to call when situations become overwhelming or clinically complex.
- There is help for your congregation, your staff, your families, and even for you personally.
How We Support Churches
Immediate Access to Trusted Guidance
When a pastor or ministry leader encounters a mental health situation that is beyond their expertise, we want them to have a trusted place to call. Whether someone is struggling with severe depression, trauma, addiction, emotional breakdown, suicidal ideation, marriage crisis, burnout, or another serious mental health challenge, our team can help guide next steps and provide appropriate recommendations and care options.
Residential Mental Health Treatment
Honey Lake Clinic is a Christian mental health organization providing clinically excellent, faith-based care and resources for individuals, families, churches, and ministry leaders, including residential treatment and other supportive mental health services for adults struggling with:

- Secondary trauma and compassion fatigue

A Nationwide Referral Network
Not every individual needs residential treatment, and not every situation is best served by Honey Lake Clinic specifically.
Because of this, we have built a growing network of trusted Christian counselors, clinicians, programs, and treatment partners around the country.
If a church reaches out needing a different level of care or a resource closer to home, we are committed to helping connect them with quality options whenever possible.
Our priority is helping people find the right help, not simply directing everyone to us.
